The ever-popular Civic sedan saw a mid-cycle upgrade last year, so 2010 means few changes expected. Power comes from a 140-hp 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic, delivering good mileage and nimble handling in a still-futuristic-looking package. Hot Si model uses 197-hp 2.0-litre engine with a six-speed manual, limited-slip differential and sticky tires. Meanwhile, Civic Hybrid gets 93-hp 1.3-litre four-cylinder helped by Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist to deliver great fuel economy in a subtle package.
