The 4Runner is getting a complete redesign next year, so the 2010 model will be the end for this cycle. Power comes from a 236-hp 4.0-litre V6 or a 266-hp 4.7-litre V8. Both come with a five-speed automatic transmission, and with standard four-wheel drive. Using the same hardware as the FJ Cruiser, the 4Runner is a real off-road machine. The five-seat SUV offers good cargo-carrying capacity, but the rest of the interior is in need of an update.
