The Suzuki Grand Vitara is an excellent compact SUV that since its last redesign had been exclusively powered by a small V6 engine, which left it vulnerable against the fuel-economy numbers put forward by its competitors. For 2010, Suzuki has introduced two new engines to solve that problem: the base 166-hp 2.4-litre four-cylinder and a 230-hp 3.2-litre V6, with either a four- or six-speed automatic and standard four-wheel drive. New wheels and exterior detailing round out the adjustments. Inside, the Grand Vitara has a handsome, if tight cabin.
