F1 likely to return to Montreal in 2010

It’s been a busy week for Formula One. First, the BMW Sauber team was sold and then Lotus announced a return to the sport after 16 years. Now, the Canadian Grand Prix is reportedly back on the schedule for 2010.
Sources, including Reuters and Autosport, say the race’s organizers have reached an agreement with F1 brass to return the Montreal race to the calendar after it was shutters for the current 2009 season. It meant there was no North American race on the schedule.
Top-level racing at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve this year was limited to NASCAR’s Nationwide and Canadian Tire Series.
